Once again the standard of global entries has not only displayed incredible technical prowess but the most evocative and powerful storytelling. Nearly 9000 images and short films were submitted from over 70 countries around the world.
The Awards will be announced on April 28th at 20:00 (GMT) simultaneously on the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year Facebook page and YouTube channel. The pre-recorded video will be shown live allowing for the global audience, participants and sponsors to enjoy the announcement at the same time and in the comfort of their own homes.
Chair of the Judges is the legendary food photographer David Loftus. This year his panel includes Chris Dee, Director, Food and Home, Harrods; Per-Anders Jorgensen, Photographer and Founder, Fool Magazine; Josh Lustig, Picture Editor, Financial Times Weekend Magazine; Vitalie Taittinger, President, Champagne Taittinger.
