Leading chefs, authors, broadcasters and activists gathered in Glasgow from 30th July to 1st August for A Place at the Table, a three-day cultural festival organised by OCC in partnership with Glasgow Life and the University of Glasgow.

For a fourth year, OCC returned to the banks of Loch Ryan on the Southwest coast of Scotland, to help stage the Stranraer Oyster Festival – now firmly established as one of the UK’s most successful celebrations of local food culture.

Six candidates in line for £5000 OCC scholarships.

OCC scholarships are focused on achieving progressive change in the hospitality industry and the food system. Applicants propose projects reflecting their professional aspirations and passions, which will also have a positive and lasting impact on society.
